English: Cathedral Basilica St. Bavo, Haarlem, Netherlands. Design by Jos Cuypers. The cathedral is build in honour of Saint Bavo, the protector of Haarlem. Building the cathedral started in 1895, the building was finished in 1930. The cathedral is where the bishop lives and is also used as church.
Nederlands: Kathedrale Basiliek Sint Bavo aan de Leidsevaart (iets buiten het centrum) in Haarlem. Het gebouw is ontworpen door Jos Cuypers. De bouw startte in 1895, het gebouw was gereed in 1930. De kerk is gewijd aan de Heilige Bavo, de patroonheilige van de stad. Op 2 mei 1948 is de Sint Bavokerk tot basiliek verheven. Het gebouw behoort toe aan het bisdom Haarlem en is de woonstede van de bisschop. Het gebouw doet ook dienst als kerk.
