G. Langworthy Taylor. Donated by: Miriam Buckner Pond.""Kate Fox was the unusual medium for the very remarkable paraphysical pictures in this case and for many, many seances which were recorded in the manuscripts in this case and later printed in the publication, Katie Fox and the Fox Taylor Record, a book by W. The Taylor son in his book of the records said of Kate Fox, "The best medium I should define as the one who works untiringly with the least injection of her own personality. Only a careful and unabridged perusal of the whole record can adequately stamp and seal the purity of the mediumship of Katie Fox." Book II, p. 145, and again on p. 149" ...so simple and childlike, still bright and quick: as sensitive as a quivering leaf and irritable as an inflamed eye."" |
