Description
English: Kaplan turbine of the Poulaphouca power station in Ireland. Two such turbines are installed, each having a capacity of 25.300 horsepower at a hydraulic head of 50.5 m. The turbines were delivered by Ateliers des Charmilles SA from Geneva, Switzerland. The contract was executed in collaboration with English Electric, London
Deutsch: Kaplanturbine des Kraftwerks Poulaphouca in Irland. Im Kraftwerk sind zwei solcher Turbinen installiert. Jede hat eine Leistung von 25.300 PS bei einer Fallhöhe von 50,5 m. Die Turbinen wurden von den Ateliers des Charmilles SA aus Genf geliefert. Der Vertrag wurde in Zusammenarbeit mit English Electric aus London ausgeführt.
