Summary

Description
English: Lazar Kaganovich was nicknamed Iron Lazar for his ruthlessness in implementing Stalin's order. As Politburo member he personally signed 188 Stalin's execution lists, containing names of more than 19,000 people. He approved “the quotes” for categories in the NKVD Order № 00447. His brother Mikhail Kaganovich committed suicide expecting arrest and execution.

Будучи членом Політбюро, він особисто підписав 188 Розстрільних Списків (Альбомів), що містять імена більш ніж 19 000 чоловік. Він також затвердив категорії в Наказі НКВС № 00447. Його брат Михайло Каганович покінчив життя самогубством, очікуючи на арешт та страту.
