DescriptionJuniper Springs Recreation Area Gate-1.jpg
English: The stone trapezoidal gateway to the Juniper Springs Recreation Area as seen from eastbound Florida State Road 40 in Ocala National Forest. Taken from the left turn lane of SR 40 but not inside the recreational area itself. Behind those big stones are actual wooden gates that are opened and closed by park rangers. On the stone obelisk to the right is a USFS Fee area sign shaped like a National Auto Trails sign, and below that is the sign for opening and closing hours. Since I had plans to capture other parts of the vicinity of the forest, besides this one, I decided to go no further than this and make a U-Turn. Nevertheless I snapped a few other scenes from this area.
