Description
English: In 1988 the Juilliard music school began a tradition of honoring Martin Luther King Jr., at the instigation of then-student now-opera vocalist and actor Stacey Robinson (right). This photo in 2008 with Robinson and then-president Joseph Polisi was an occasion to celebrate 20 years of the school's showcasing the life and legacy of King. Robinson was one of the creators, directors and performers of the original showcase in 1988.)
