Description
English: Jubilee Memorial, Harrogate. Built 1887 and presented to Harrogate by Richard Ellis, Mayor, having been designed by Arthur Bown in Gothic style. Statue of Queen Victoria carved by Webber, below stone canopy. The canopy has quatrefoil arched openings surmounted by pinnacle granite base with trefoil 3 bay recesses to sides with crenellated coping with heraldic lions rampant on corners.
