Summary

Description The building at 155-157 Mercer Street between Houston and Prince Streets in the SoHo neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City, was originally built in 1854 as Fireman's Hall, designed by Field & Correja. It later became the FDNY's Hook & Ladder No. 20, and is now the Joyce SoHo, a small space for the presentation of dance connected with the Joyce Theater on Eighth Avenue. The building has been considerable altered from its original design. It is located withing the SoHo-Cast Iron Historic District.
