Español: José Mariano de la Riva Agüero y Sánchez Boquete (1783 -1858), fue un militar y político peruano. Figura prócer de la independencia hispanoamericana, fue Presidente del Perú en 1823. Fue el primer Jefe de Estado peruano en llevar el título de Presidente de la República y en lucir la banda presidencial bicolor como distintivo del poder que ejercía.
