Summary

Description
English: Promotional postcard for Philip Morris cigarettes.
  • The card was intended for promotional use; Roventini as Johnny the Bellboy, an advertising character for the brand of cigarettes, is shown on front. Roventini appeared on the Philip Morris Show as part of the cast in the 1940s. The back of the card mentions, "Call for Philip Morris", which was the slogan for the brand. It was Roventini's line for radio and later television commercials.
  • There are no copyright marks on the card; this can be seen in the links above for photos of the full front and back of the card.
  • Dating this from the look of the microphone and comparing it to File:Supperclub postcard 1945.JPG, this card was produced in the 1940s.
  • United States Copyright Office page 2 "Visually Perceptible Copies The notice for visually perceptible copies should contain all three elements described below. They should appear together or in close proximity on the copies.
