Object history

Sir Harry James Veitch, bequeathed 1924 to the Royal Albert Memorial Museum, Exeter (published in RAMM catalogue, 1926, no. 266). Veitch Trust Sale; Christie's, London, 22 October 1954, lot 118. (40 gns) with Williams & Sons, London.
