Description
Deutsch: Der John Hancock-Tower ist das höchste Gebäude von Boston. Seine komplett verspiegelte Fassade war ein architektonisches Novum, dass u.a. später bei der Deutschen Bank Zentrale in Frankfurt übernommen wurde. Bei diesem Bild, aufgenommen Ende Oktober 2006 bei schon recht kalten Temperaturen, ist der Effekt schön sichtbar.
English: The John Hancock Tower is the tallest building in Boston, USA. Its completely mirrored facade was an architectural novelty. This picture, taken late October 2006 in quite cold temperatures, the mirror effect is clearly visible.
