DescriptionJohn Clifton Mayhugh House I, Main Street, Walton, KY.jpg
English: Built in 1926, this Arts and Crafts-style side-gable bungalow was built for John Clifton Mayhugh, whom owned a building materials business, and his wife, Ann Catherine Mayhugh, as well as their children. They moved out of the house and sold it in 1929, building a new house further north on Main Street. The house features a red brick exterior, front gable dormer, decorative brackets on the gable ends, exposed rafter tails, replacement vinyl windows, stone windowsills, a one-story bay window on the south facade, a front porch with brick columns and railings, and a front door with sidelights. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.
