English: Joe Max Taylor Law Enforcement Center in Galveston, Texas. In the interest of efficiency and cost cutting, the Galveston County Sheriff's Department and the City of Galveston Police Department constructed a new "Law Enforcement Center" that combines some functions previously duplicated by each department -- ie: Dispatch, Jail etc. It is part of the new Galveston County Criminal Justice Center complex. It is named for former long-time Galveston County Sheriff, Joe Max Taylor.
