English: From the beginning in 1974 for the San José Museum of Art to the present for Friends of the National Museum of the American Latino, Jesús Manuel Mena Garza has been asked to talk about and exhibit his photographs.
For more than forty years Jesús Manuel Mena Garza has created unique and inspiring photographs for exhibition, publication and a diverse clientele. His straight-classic style is at once timeless and beautiful. Garza continues to participate on panels, workshops and teaches classes. He also lectures about and shows his photographs from coast to coast, in Mexico and Europe. Venues include universities, libraries, museums, and galleries.
Garza has taught photography, digital media, and video at various universities including the prestigious Academy of Art University in San Francisco. Specific courses range from Photography for Film to Documentary Photography to Landscape Photography. Garza currently resides in Fort Worth, Texas USA.
