Summary

Description
English: Diagram of the metallic fittings called Rokoyō Kanagu which are used extensively in Japanese architecture. Fig.A is an ornamental fitting used to conceal the nails used to affix the transom (Negeshi). Fig.B Is an ornamental fixture usually affixed to the gable, it is sometimes made from wood. In Imperial Crown Style these fittings maybe made from sandstone or other material for ornamental purposes only.
