Description
English: Janet Okell. She was a rating in the Women's Royal Naval Service during World War 2. She served in the Western Approaches Tactical Unit in Liverpool, where she participated in wargames by which the Royal Navy developed defensive tactics to counter the threat of German submarines to trans-Atlantic shipping.
