WILLIAM HOPKINS of this Parish
Gentleman and Citizen of LONDON
who died Dec 24th 1777
Aged 67 Years.
Here also lieth Miss MARY HOPKINS
Daughter of the Late
Mr WILLIAM HOPKINS
who departed this Life July 26th 1780
in her 10th Year.

ARE DUE IN A GREAT MEASURE THE ASTRONOMICAL DISCOVERIES,
OF HIS NEPHEW THE REV. JAMES BRADLEY
SAVILIAN PROFESSOR OF ASTRONOMY,
OXFORD 1721-1762,
ASTRONOMER ROYAL 1742-1762.
THIS STONE WAS PLACED IN 1910, BY SOME
FELLOWS OF THE ROYAL ASTRONOMICAL SOCIETY
AND OTHERS, TO MARK AND PRESERVE HIS GRAVE.
