En el Museo de la Ciudad de México, José Alfonso Suárez del Real y Aguilera, acompañado de Argel Gómez, director general de Grandes Festivales; Claudio Valdés Kuri, en representación del Consejo Curatorial del festival y el dramaturgo Jaime Chabaud, ofrecieron una conferencia de prensa para presentar Escénica, Ciudad de México. Festival Internacional de Artes Escénicas, del 8 al 18 de agosto, con la participación de 400 artistas en más de 20 sedes, con más de 120 actividades gratuitas de teatro, danza, circo, performance, títeres, instalaciones, clases magistrales, talleres y charlas.
