Summary

Description
English: German paleontologist Otto Jaekel and preparator Adolf Ernst ("Eto") von Zschock preparing a Plateosaurus skeleton found in Halberstadt, Turingia. The preparation was made for the visit of German emperor Wilhelm II to the Berlin Natural History Museum on March 14, 1912. As a consequence, Jaekel was able to secure funding from Wilhelm for further excavations at the site. From the Leipziger Illustrirte Zeitung, 1912.
