Deutsch: Bildbeschreibung: Ölgemälde auf Leinwand Höhe 77,5 cm, Breite 71,5 cm, Keilrahmen;

Lebensgroßes Hüftbild, stehend, frontal, Blick auf den Betrachter. Die linke Hand im Disputationsgestus vorgestreckt, die rechte Hand vom roten, diagonal zur linken Schulter geführten Purpur verdeckt. Grau gepuderte Lockenfrisur mit Haarbeutel und Solitaire. Grüner Samtfrack mit Silberborte an Kanten und Aufschlägen. Silbergraue, gestickte Weste. Spitzen an Hals und Ärmel des Hemdes. Am rechten Bildrand Pfeiler mit zwölfzeiliger Inschrift: Jo. Ludov. Schmidius / Jurium doctor / Institut. Prof. Pub. Ordin: / cur. Prov. Sax. Comm. / Fac. Iurid. et Scabin. / Coll. in Acad. Jenensi / Adsessor / Natus Quedlinburgi / d. XXII.
