English: This 1987 logo is in the public domain because it is substantially the same as, and contains no additional creative work beyond, the Jefferson County Police EMS logo, which was published by pre-1978 U.S. standards by being publicly displayed in at least 1974 (e.g. File:JCPEMS Car.jpg) without copyright notice or registration.
