English: THE HENRY HOMESTEAD BUILT CIRCA 1790 AS A LOG CABIN BUT WILLIAM HENRY III ALTERED THE BUILDING IN 1812. IT IS NOW USED AS THE PENNSYLVANIA LONGRIFLE HERITAGE MUSEUM. THE HENRY FAMILY WERE GUNMAKERS WHO SUPPLIED GUNS FOR THE FRENCH AND INDIAN WAR, THE REVOLUTION, AND THE WAR OF 1812. THE HENRY RIFLE WAS USED IN THE CIVIL WAR AND BY JOHN JACOB ASTOR FUR COMPANY
THERE IS A PICTURE OF A BARN IN THE NR LISTING FOR JACOBSBURG H.D., THERE ARE TWO KEY STRUCTURES IN THE DISTRICT. ONE IS THE HENRY HOMESTEAD BUILDING AND THE OTHER IS BOULTON. THESE ARE ABOUT THE ONLY STRUCTURES STILL STANDING AND NOT IN RUINS
