English: Delivered new to Japan Airlines in Jan-82, JA8548 was in Japanese domestic service for more than 21 years and operated it's last service just two months after this photo was taken, at the end of Jul-03. It was sold to Wells Fargo Bank Northwest the following month as N857V and ferried to Mojave (MHV), CA, USA, for storage. It was stripped of useful parts and the main structure was last reported to be still at Mojave in Oct-12. |
