| Description |
English: Jøtul F 602 made at Jøtul and Kværner woodstove foundry AS. It was made stoves in cast iron at Bryn in Oslo from 1853. In 1970, production was gradually moved to Kråkerøy at Fredrikstad. The factory in Oslo was closed down in 1989. Production was documented on the occasion of 90th annual anniversary in 1943. Exhibition text " - Through Lens"
This woodstove is one of Jøtul's timeless classics. It is a longstanding bestseller which was designed in the late 1930s by the architects Blakstad and Munthe-Kaas and decorated by sculptor Ørnulf Bast. |
