Description
English: It's All True film crew at the top of Sugarloaf Mountain, Rio de Janeiro (1942). Standing, from left: John M. Gustafson, Technicolor technician; Dante Orgolini, Mercury public relations; Jose Santos (perhaps Orlando Santos, assistant from Cinédia Studio); W. Howard Greene, Technicolor cinematographer; Sidney Zisper, Technicolor technician; Henry Imus, Technicolor camera operator; Ned Scott, still photographer; Joseph Biroc, camera operator (black-and-white); Robert Meltzer, screenwriter and second unit director; Willard Barth, assistant cameraman; Leo Reiser, location production coordinator. Seated at left: James Curley, grip. Crouching: Harry J. Wild, cinematographer (black-and-white).

Subjects are identified by the caption in the June 1942 issue of International Photographer (page 28), except in these instances:

  • The person captioned as "John Reichbimer" is identified by Catherine Benamou as still photographer Ned Scott. (Source: It's All True" Orson Welles's Pan-American Odyssey, page 48).
  • The person crouching, captioned as "Bill Larson", is identified by Benamou as Harry J. Wild.
  • The person captioned as "Harry Wild" is identified by Benamou as screenwriter and second unit director Robert Meltzer.
Spelling and production credits are as listed by Catherine Benamou (It's All True" Orson Welles's Pan-American Odyssey, pp. 312–313).
