עברית: אתמול הסתיים מבצע מורכב לפינוי והשמדה של חמישה פגזי ארטילריה, בקוטר 150 מ"מ, שאותרו בכנרת בשטח כפר נופש. המבצע יצא לדרך לאחר שלפני כשלושה שבועות התקבל דיווח מאדם שרחץ בכנרת והבחין בפריטים בסמוך לקו החוף.

מבדיקת חבלני משטרת ישראל עלה כי מדובר בפגזי ארטילריה מתקופת מלחמת העולם הראשונה, שככל הנראה ננטשו במקום על ידי הטורקים בזמן מנוסתם מפני הצבא הבריטי על מנת להיפטר ממשקל עודף.

בפעילות מורכבת מקצועית של מערך החבלה, צוותי שיטור ימי וחיל הים פונו הפגזים בשיירה מאובטחת אל מקום מבודד, שם הושמדו.
English: Israeli Police bomb disposal unit safely detonated old World War I artillery shells in the Sea of Galilee (Kinnereth). The bomb disposal operators carefully transported the shells into a safe place and detonated them without damage.
