Summary

Description

Livery hall on Aldersgate Street, in the City of London; the Worshipful Company of Ironmongers were granted their charter by King Edward IV back in 1463, but the present building was built as recently as 1925.

The company motto is "God is our Strength" and the coat of arms features salamanders (which were supposed to be able survive fire).
