Summary

Description
English: Iqyax, sea kayak from the Alaska Peninsula and Aleutian Islands, designed by the Unangan people; wooden frame of single-hatch kayak, this model is 1/6th scale, about three feet long, about three inches wide, about two inches deep. The photograph shows a top view and a side (starboard) view. The full-size kayaks were covered with sea lion hides.
