English: Stele of Yisüngge (copy of the original stele held at the Hermitage Museum in Russia). This is the earliest known inscription in the Mongolian script, and commemorates Yisüngge (possibly a nephew of Genghis Khan) shooting an arrow a distance of 335 spans (c. 580 yards), probably in 1225. Mongol empire.
