English: The Qadr Night or Laylat al-Qadr, variously rendered in English as the Night of Decree, Night of Power, Night of Value, Night of Destiny, or Night of Measures, is, in Islamic belief, the night when the Quran was first sent down from Heaven to the world and also the night when the first verses of the Quran were revealed to the Islamic prophet Muhammad and it is described to be better than a thousand months of worshipping.
العربية: ليلة القدر هي ليلة مميزة تتكرر كل عام هجري في شهر رمضان المبارك، فهي أحد ليالي العشر الأواخر من شهر رمضان، جاء ذكرها في القرآن الكريم و‌سيرة النبي محمد، لذلك فهي ذات أهمية وخصوصية كبيرة عند المسلمين، فالقرآن نزل في هذه الليلة، ولليلة فضلٌ عظيم، جاء في القرآن الكريم في سورة القدر إِنَّا أَنْزَلْنَاهُ فِي لَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ خَيْرٌ مِنْ أَلْفِ شَهْرٍ وفيها تتنزل الملائكة، وتكون الليلة سلامٌ حتى مطلع الفجر، سورة القدر: تَنَزَّلُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ وَالرُّوحُ فِيهَا بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِمْ مِنْ كُلِّ أَمْرٍ سَلَامٌ هِيَ حَتَّى مَطْلَعِ الْفَجْرِ وثبت بالسنة النبوية الحث على تحرّي هذه الليلة في العشر الأواخر، خصوصًا في الليالي الفردية منها.
Русский: Ночь аль-Кадр или Ночь предопределе́ния, Ночь решения, Ночь Могущества, в исламе — почитаемая ночь месяца поста Рамадан, связанная с ниспосланием пророку Мухаммаду Корана в виде откровения в пещере Хира горы Джабаль ан-Нур.
עברית: לַילת אל-קד הוא שמו של אחד הלילות האחרונים בחודש הרמדאן. על פי המסורת המוסלמית, זהו הלילה שבו ניתנה הגרסה הראשונית של הקוראן על ידי המלאך ג'יבריל לנביא מוחמד.
Português: Laylat al-Qadr é uma celebração islâmica que celebra o começo da revelação do Alcorão ao profeta Muhammad (Maomé) no Monte Hira, em Meca, pelo anjo Gabriel (Jibril). A expressão significa "noite da determinação", sendo tradicionalmente traduzida como "noite do Destino".
