DescriptionIjazah3.jpg	English: Example of an ijazah, or diploma of competency in Arabic calligraphy. Thuluth and naskh script. Written by 'Ali Ra'if Efendi in 1206/1791. 28 (w) x 21 (h) cm. The top and middle panels contain a Saying (Hadith) attributed to the Prophet Muhammad which reads: Secret charity quenches the wrath of the Lord. / The best of you is the best for his family. / The best of the followers is Uways. Arabic text reads: Türkçe: Arapça hat sanatının bir icazet veya yeterlilik diploması örneği. Metni Raif Ali Efendi tarafından 1206/1791 yılında yazılmıştır. Üst ve orta bölümünde Peygamber Muhammed'i atfeden Hadis'ten sözler yer almaktadır: Gizli verilen sadaka Allah'ın gazabını söndürür. (Mecmeu’z-Zevâid, III/110). العربية : مِثالٌ عن إجازة، أي شهادة، مكتوبة بالخط العربي، وتحديدًا بخطيّ النقش والثُلث. كتبها الخطَّاط العثماني علي رائف أفندي سنة 1206هـ الموافقة لسنة 1791م، على ورقة حجمها 28 (عرض) × 21 (طول) سنتيمتر. في أعلى المخطوطة وفي وسطها نُقشت إحدى الأحاديث النبويَّة. وجاء فيه ما ورد في الأسفل: صدقة السر تطفئ غضب الرب قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم خيركم خيركم لأهله صدق رسول الله وقال خير التابعين أويس صدق رسول الله اذنت واجزت بوضع الكتبة لنامق هذه القطعة المرغوبة على رائف افندي زاد الله رزقه ومعرفته وطول الله عمره وانال ما يتمناه وانا المذنب السيد مصطفى الحليمي؟؟ سنة ست ومائتين وألف اذنت بوضع الكتبة تحت كتابة كاتب هذه القطعة المرغوبة على رائف افندي اللهم عمره عمرا طويلا وزد علمه ومعرفته بكرة واصيلا وانا احقر الورى السيد حسين حامد غفر له سنة ١٢٠٦ هـ
