Wappenbeschreibung
„In Blau ein silbernes Schrägkreuz, bewinkelt unten von einer goldenen Glocke.“
Der Rat der damaligen Gemeinde Iecava beschloss auf seiner Sitzung am 12. Juni 2001 die Annahme des von Ilze Lībiete entworfenen Wappens. Die Heraldikkommission der Republik Lettland genehmigte es am 7. Mai 2002. Der aus der Gemeinde Iecava neugebildete Bezirk Iecava führte das Wappen in Rechtsnachfolge zunächst unverändert weiter. In seiner Sitzung am 14. Februar 2012 nahm der Rat des Bezirks Iecava das von Ilze Lībiete und Jānis Ivanovs entworfene heutige Wappen an. Am 29. März 2012 überreichte Staatspräsident Andris Bērziņš in einer feierlichen Zeremonie die Genehmigungsurkunde.

„Zilā laukā sudraba šķērskrusts, pēdā zelta zvans.“
Iecavas pagasta ģerboni izstrādāja viena no retajām profesionālajām heraldikas kanonu pārzinātājām Latvijā - māksliniece Ilze Lībiete. 2001. gada 12. jūnija Domes sēdē to akceptēja pašvaldības deputāti, bet 2002. gada 7. maijā to apstiprināja Valsts Heraldikas komisija.[1]
