Description
English: Hurricane Idalia of the 2023 Atlantic hurricane season approaching the Big Bend region of Florida on August 30, 2023. Idalia was at its peak intensity, with 1-min sustained winds of 130 mph (210 km/h) and an official minimum central pressure of 940 mbar (27.8 inHg) at the time the Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite (VIIRS) aboard the NOAA-20 satellite acquired this infrared image.
