Description
English: View from the ice cave „Mer de Glace“, an artificial ice cave in Chamonix-Mont-Blanc, France. Dug every year in the Mer de Glace since the mid-nineteenth century. The annual renewal is made necessary by the flow of the glacier which is about 70 meters per year.
