Short title
Iberian Wolf (Canis lupus signatus) alpha female being stimulated by its pups to regurgitate some meat, in Picos de Europa, Leon, Spain
Image title
Iberian Wolf
(Canis lupus signatus)
My best wolf images so far: the alpha female returns from her night hunt to the sunny clear where the young wolves have been waiting. They immediately start to harass her, stimulating her to regurgitate some meat. We were very lucky with the light in this shot: it was very early in the morning (and very cold!) and the hillside where they were was completely in the shade. The sun appeared behind another hill less than one minute before the alpha female showed up.
