Description
English: THE EARLIEST PART OF THE HOUSE DATES TO CIRCA 1702 AND WAS BUILT BY JOHN THORNE. HE LEFT IT TO HIS DAUGHTER WHO HAD MARRIED JOHN GLOVER WHO BUILT THE GLOVER FULLING MILL NEARBY. HE LEFT IT TO ONE OF HIS 2 SURVIVIONG SONS, ISAAC GLOVER FOR WHICH THE CURRENT NAME. IT IS ALSO KNOWN AS THE CHALKEY-GLOVER HOUSE
