Description
English: This image shows the hood and the back of a gown as worn by someone of the degree of Master of Arts from the University of Edinburgh. The design follows that set forth by the Intercollegiate Code of Academic Costume which is the dominant style used in the United States. However, the modern cut of the sleeve is completely different to the one pictured.
