The former terminus of the narrow gauge Leek and Manifold Railway <a title="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leek_and_Manifold_Valley_Light_Railway" rel="nofollow" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leek_and_Manifold_Valley_Light_Railway">Link</a><img style="padding-left:2px;" alt="External link" title="External link - shift click to open in new window" src="http://s0.geograph.org.uk/img/external.png" width="10" height="10"/> , which operated between 1904 and 1934 and has now been now transformed into a visitor centre. The building on the right is a recent rebuild of the former engine shed for the railway that has been undertaken as part of the expansion of the visitor facilities.
