Summary

Description
English: Hull Victoria Dock railway station (site), Yorkshire
Opened in 1853 by the York & North Midland Railway as the terminus of the short but circuitous line from Hull Paragon, it also became the western terminus of the line from Withernsea. However, in 1864 the two lines were joined so that passenger trains travelled from Withernsea to Paragon, by-passing Victoria Dock, which closed to passengers in the same year. It continued as a goods station until 1968. View east on Hedon Road. The terminus was to the right of the road, with the large grey building occupying part of the site. No trace of the railway remains.
