| Description | Standard gauge "Andes" Clas 2-8-0 No.252 (ex-202), built by Beyer Peacock, Gorton, Manchester (works No.7324) in 1950 for the Ferro Carril Central (FCC) and now preserved at Juliaca on the former Ferro Carril Sud (FCS). Despite their modest size and the difficult routes which they worked, the "Andes" were very successful and proved ideal for the duties they were placed on. A very late evening shot with an inexpensive compact camera hence the poor quality. 10/07. | |||||||||||||
