Source |
Several come from GUIdebook, others garnered from web image searches. |
Article | |
Portion used |
Only the main part of the color picker interfaces is compared. Similar screenshots litter the web and these interfaces have been copied endlessly: their use in Wikipedia in no way threatens their creators commercially. |
Low resolution? |
This image will be shown at a low resolution in the article. |
Purpose of use |
To demonstrate the variety of HSL and HSV color choosers in use in the early 1990s, and show how they have remained unchanged in the intervening 15-20 years. |
Replaceable? |
These are historically relevant screenshots: any open source software with similar interfaces has essentially copied these. In particular, the GIMP’s color pickers are direct copies of Painter’s and Photoshop’s. |
