Details: Howard Carmichael is a Principal Investigator for the Dodd-Walls Centre working at The University of Auckland. He is a theoretical physicist whose foundational work has helped to establish the field of quantum optics. He is most well known for his 'quantum trajectory theory' which predicts the behaviour of quantum systems.
