| Description |
English: Looking west at the St. John's Terminal building (550 Washington Street) at Houston Street and Washington Street in Hudson Square, Manhattan. I have always found this building to be odd and a bit ugly, but it has a surprisingly interesting history. It was a former New York Central warehouse and freight terminal, and was originally planned to be 17 stories tall. |
