Description
English: Biplanes sit on a sod apron at Hoover Field, an airport in Arlington County, Virginia, which served the city of Washington, D.C., in the United States. The dome of the U.S. Capitol building can just be seen over the plane in the middle. Smokestacks and other tall building, safety hazards for which the airport was notorious, line the horizon.
