Some variations in the Eastern boundary have been reflected in this version of Image:Historical_provinces_of_sweden.png

Österland and parts of Lappland and Västerbotten were separated from Sweden in 1809, constituing Grand Duchy of Finland, and later (1918) Republic of Finland.
