Deutsch: Arthur von Hippel (1841 - 1916) war von 1890 - 1892 Nachfolger von Julius Jacobson an der seit 1873 einzigen Universitätsaugenklinik Preußens. Bekannt wurde er durch erste Versuche mit Hornhauttransplantation, wofür er 1891 den Albrecht-von-Graefe-Preis erhielt.
