Description
English: Sketch of the Hillside, a home in Concord, Massachusetts (later renamed The Wayside). Signed by Amos Bronson Alcott (1799-1888); presumably he is the artist. Published in Bronson Alcott at Alcott House, England, and Fruitlands, New England (1842-1844) by Franklin Benjamin Sanborn. The Torch Press, 1908. According to Madelon Bedell's The Alcotts: Biography of a Family (1980), this sketch was made by Alcott.
