The car was being displayed at a classic car show. Although special cabriolet bodies fitted to the chassis of popular cars were not unusual in the 1930s, the car on display in 2009 was accompanied by a statement that the owner believes that this is currently the only Hillman Minx with this tourer body currently road-legal.
