DescriptionHeterojunction solar cell surface SEM image.png
English: A SEM image depicting the antireflection coating of a heterojunction solar cell. The coating is made from sputtered Indium tin oxide. Its thickness and refractive index has been tuned such that reflections are minimised at the peak of the solar spectrum. This image also shows the pyramidal texture of the solar cell surface, which is another technique used to reduce reflections and trap as much light as possible.
